Pastor Danice Wilson Bates is a mother of three biological daughters, three children by marriage with Mr. E. Bates, Jr (2009), two by adoption, and a host of grandchildren. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and later relocated to Metro Atlanta. After her first divorce, she acquired her AA in Business Management, her BS in Business Healthcare Administration and became a Certified Medical Assistant specializing in pediatrics and the family practice. She has transitioned her Masters in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling to acquiring her Masters in Education and intends to pursue her Doctorate in Divinity (having done coursework via a 3rd party at a mastery level).
Danice has served as a Family Independence Case Worker for Cobb County and owned a licensed daycare center from 1997-2009. Aside from being a wife, mother, daughter & granddaughter, she currently focuses her efforts on helping the current and up-and-coming generations. She served as a member of the Cobb County Juvenile Court's Youth Diversion Program and is the Founder, CEO & Head Interventionist of Saving Generations-a nonprofit intervention/prevention organization for youth ages 8-19 & their family members. *Saving Generations is the umbrella company of (Cobb County CUTIES, Inc, Men of Grandeur, Inc., Mind Over Matter, Inc. and the SG Marietta Chapter of Becca's Closet). Mrs. Wilson Bates is a member of the NAACP since her youth, has been inducted into the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society, Cambridge Who's Who, is Honorary Chairman on the Business Advisory Council representing the State of Georgia and a published author.
Her life has truly come full circle.As of mid 2012, Danice answered her calling (per Matthew 28: 19-20) and became an Independent Ordained Minister & Certified Chaplain via the National Association of Christian Ministers. Danice has been called to serve as Pastor of Restored By Faith Ministries which was birthed via an online social website. Pastor Bates truly loves the Lord. Even with battling a life threatening illness, she refuses to give up spreading the word about God's grace and mercy.
As it stands, Pastor Bates builds her spiritual foundation on John 15:16 "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appoint you to go bear fruit-fruit that will last."
